St.Mark's Open Day

Saturday 21st May 2011 was an important day in the life of the church when an Open Day was held, giving members of the public the opportunity to visit and find out about what happens in the church as well as learning about the clubs and societies which meet in the church hall. In the church itself there were display boards showing the various acivities, Bible readings in celebration of the King James Bible, performances by the music group and choir also organ music. There was also the opportunity to receive prayer from the Prayer Ministry Team. Children were also catered for in the church with their own craft activites. In the refurbished hall were various displays showing the range of groups which meet in the there and refreshments were on sale. The Scottish Country Dancing Group demonstrated their skills in the car-park,which was warmly appreciated. It was a successful and very enjoyable day.
